In 2009 I started to work creatively with two specific dancers, Azzurra Ardovini and Josh Wille. We collaborated firstly within Phoenix Dance Theatre, later in Vincent Dance Theatre and increasingly as a trio in our own right. In 2014 we started receiving ACE funding for our work at which point we assigned the name SARDOVILLE to our collective. As SARDOVILLE we have co-produced several creative research periods, two national tours of theatres/performance spaces and made numerous artistic commissions. To date this has been a £200’000+ project (£110K Cash investment and £100k support in kind) taking place over three years and consisted of:

• Fundraising and budget handling

• Commissioning a new dance work from Luca Silvestrini.

• Engaging high profile collaborators such as Wendy Houstoun, Donna McKevitt

• Creating new dance work.

• Tour Booking

• Facilitating rehearsals

• Commissioning and collaborating on design for costume.

• Designing & distributing flyers/poster/promotional materials

• Filming and Editing our performance work (full show and samples).

• Costing and Coordinating Travel/Accommodation arrangements.

• Recruiting technical artists; lighting designers, stage managers.

• Coordinating and leading wrap around activities such as workshops and discussions.

• Managing social media and web pages.

• Writing content to support press releases and interviews.
